With protection and peace of mind for your boiler, and everything inside it, you can rest easy knowing that you won’t be without hot water, or out of pocket. With a guarantee, you’re covered for any parts, labour, and call-out fees – should anything go wrong.
What is a boiler guarantee and what does it cover?
Your guarantee goes hand-in-hand with your product, whether it’s a boiler, heat pump, or air conditioner. It’s what protects you from unexpected breakdowns and even more unexpected costs.
Chances are, your boiler’s going lead a happy and healthy life for years to come. But in the unlikely event that something goes wrong whilst it’s still in guarantee, we’ll come out, fix it, or replace any faulty parts – at no cost to you.
What is a boiler warranty and what does it cover?
Warranties are like insurance – you buy them from your retailer and they cover you for a specific list of things, for a fixed period of time. You normally have to renew them and they’re normally not as comprehensive as guarantees.
Every Worcester Bosch product comes with a guarantee, giving you complete peace of mind and protection from the unexpected. We don’t offer warranties.
Boiler warranty vs guarantee
The biggest difference between warranties and guarantees is that a guarantee is normally free, and comes directly from the manufacturer. It’s often seen as a marker of quality, as the seller is confident enough in their product to agree to fix it for free – should anything go wrong.
A warranty is normally bolted on to the purchase, meaning you have to pay for it when you buy the product, and it’s more like an insurance policy. It will protect you against breakdowns or faulty parts, but only those mentioned in the list and only if it happens in a certain time period – which is often shorter than a guarantee and needs renewing.
How long does my guarantee last?
The length of your guarantee is dependent on which product you have – but also how it’s installed and what it’s installed with. You can check the length of your guarantee by entering your 23 digital serial number in our checker.
Worcester boiler guarantee registration
You, or your installer, needs to register your guarantee to make it active. It’s an easy online process which means we have everything we need, should we need to come and fix anything.
