Which 15 Years - Warming Your Community 2024/5 Terms and Conditions

1. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the “Terms”).

2. The promoter is Bosch Thermotechnology Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 01993294, whose registered office address is Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW, United Kingdom (“Promoter”).

3. The Competition will be run from 17 September 2024 at 00:00 (GMT) until 30 April 2025 at 23:59pm (“Competition Period”).

4. The Competition will be run every calendar month for September, October, November, December 2024 and January, February, March and April 2025 in accordance with these Terms.

5. The Competition is open to installers who are:

  1. aged 18 or over and based in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland; and
  2. Gas Safe Registered (in the United Kingdom) or registered with R.G.I.I. (in the Republic of Ireland); and
  3. are not excluded under clause 6,

(“Eligible Participants”).Eligible Participants warrant that they have obtained all necessary consents from the Nominee (as defined below) to submit the entry and to be contacted by the Promoter as set out in these Terms, including under the General Data Protection Regulation (2016) and applicable UK law. Nominee may withdraw an entry made on their behalf at any time by contacting the Promoter by email at: Marketing.Wo@uk.bosch.com.

6. Employees of the Promoter, or of any other company within the Bosch group of companies (including BSH Home Appliances Limited), and their immediate family members, Bosch’s agents or their employees, or any person professionally associated with this Competition (or members of their family or household) may not enter the Competition either as an Eligible Participant or a Nominee.

7. The Promoter assumes that by entering the Competition (and the participant warrants that) the Eligible Participant and the Nominee is aged 18 or over. Participants entering the Competition as an employee of an organisation must (i) inform their employer about the Competition, and (ii) obtain the permission of their employer to enter the Competition.

Entry:

8. Eligible Participants may enter the Competition during the Competition Period by completing the entry form on the Promoter’s webpage [www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/professional/which-15] (“Entry”).

9. Eligible Participants must nominate and submit their Entry on behalf of a “Nominee”. A Nominee must be either:

  • a. the owner or operator of a community space which benefits a group of fifteen (15) or more individuals; or
  • b. an individual residential homeowner or occupier experiencing difficulty or hardship, whether health or financially related,

in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland that they consider to be deserving of a Prize (as defined below).

The Entry must include a written description of not less than 200 words in support of the nomination, justifying why the Nominee is a deserving recipient of a Prize (as defined below) and how they would benefit from it. Entries must set out what takes place in the community space or explain why the individual is in need of a new boiler. Eligible Participants must state the nature of their relationship with the Nominee. Nominees must comply with these Terms. Eligible Participants or Nominees may withdraw an entry made at any time by contacting the Promoter by email at: Marketing.Wo@uk.bosch.com.

10. Only one Entry can be made on behalf of a single Nominee; additional Entries made for the same Nominee and Entries received after end of the Competition Period will not be accepted.

11. Any Entry that does not contain the information required above will be an invalid Entry and will not be entered into the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right and has complete discretion to disqualify any Entry deemed unsuitable, inappropriate, explicit or offensive, and accepts no responsibility for Entries not successfully or fully completed due to any reason including technical faults.

12. All valid and correct Entries will be entered into a competition for a chance to win a prize. During the Competition Period, one (1) prize winner will be selected from all eligible Nominees at the end of September and two (2) prize winners will be selected at the end of each of the months of October, November, December, 2024 and January, February, March and April 2025 (“Competition Months”). The fifteen (15) prize winning Nominees will be in each instance selected by a panel of judges on behalf of the Promoter from all qualifying Entries valid for each Competition Month (the “Winners”). The fifteen (15) Winners will each be chosen within seven (7) days of the end of each Competition Month.

Prize:

13. There will be two prize Winners per each Competition Month apart from September 2024 when there will be one. The Winners’ prize shall be one (1) Worcester Bosch boiler (suitable for the Nominee and determined by the Promoter) and a contribution by the Promoter towards the cost of installation and commissioning of the boiler, including any additional accessories or parts required to complete the installation, up to a maximum of £1,000 (see clause 20) (“Prize”). 

14. There will be fifteen (15) Prizes in total that will be awarded to fifteen (15) different Nominees.

15. The Prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with product(s) or service(s) of equal or greater value at any time.

16. The Prize or any promotional item(s) must not be auctioned or resold. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to accept further entries under this or any other promotion if it becomes aware of the reselling or auctioning of the Prize or any promotional item(s).

17. An Entry may only win one (1) Prize during the Competition Period. The Winners for each Competition Month will not be eligible to win a prize in any future month in the Competition Period and may not re-enter. For example, the Nominee Winner in September will not be entered into the Competition in any other month. Valid Entries that do not win in a Competition Month will be automatically entered into the Competition in each of the remaining Competition Months. Entries may be made throughout the Competition Period.

18. The Winners will be notified by email or phone within ten (10) days of the Winners being identified (“Notification”).

19. The Winners must contact the Promoter within fourteen (14) days of the date of the Notification to claim their Prize and provide the Promoter with the address in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland (“Winner Confirmation”). If a Winner fails to claim the Prize, such Winner will forfeit the Prize and another valid Entry will be drawn.

20. The Prize will also include removal of the Winner’s existing boiler and the cost of installation and commissioning by a local Worcester Accredited Installer (“WAI”) or Worcester Accredited Partner (“WAP”), on the basis it is a straight-forward install following a survey completed by the WAI or WAP and that the cost of removal, installation and commissioning shall be no more than £1,000 including VAT. The WAI or WAP will be Gas-Safe or RGII registered and chosen by the Promoter. The Promoter does not provide installation services and shall not be liable for any act or omission of the installer.

21. Following completion of a site survey by the WAI or WAP, the Winners must select their boiler and the Promoter will arrange for the Prizes to be delivered to the Winners’ addresses in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland at the Promoter’s cost.

22. Installation must be completed within 6 months of the date of the Notification.

23. By participating in the competition, the Eligible Participant agrees to participate in a case study discussing the installation of the Prize. The case study may include quotes from the Eligible Participant, and photos and videos of the Eligible Participant. The Eligible Participant consents to the case study being shared on Worcester Bosch social media pages, in the press, and on the Worcester Bosch website.

General:

24. In all matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of the judges nominated by the Promoter in the selection of the Winners shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

25. At all times throughout the Competition, participants must deal with the Promoter in the utmost good faith in every respect. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify any participant that it has reasonable grounds to believe has breached any of the Terms, including, but not limited to, falsifying any information submitted to or requested by the Promoter.

26. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the Competition at any time without notice. However, the Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect of such amendment or termination to avoid disappointment. Any termination or amendment to the Competition will be communicated in the same way as the Competition was communicated.

27. The Promoter excludes all liability for taxes relating to the Prizes and any tax liability arising from the provision of the Prizes will be the sole responsibility of the recipient of the Prizes.

28. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your entry, nor does the Promoter accept responsibility for the return of any Entry, including those consisting of artistic or other material.

29. The judges names and the Winners’ names can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd., Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW United Kingdom. If a Winner objects to any or all of their surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by email at: Marketing.Wo@uk.bosch.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

30. If a participant does not wish for their details to be entered into the Competition or if they opt out but then wish to re-enter, they can advise the Promoter by writing to its address set out in clause 2, or by email to: Marketing.Wo@uk.bosch.com.

31. The Promoter will process the participants’ (including Nominees’) personal data on the Promoter’s behalf for the purposes of the Competition and complying with its delivery commitments. The Promoter’s legal basis for processing the personal data is that the processing is carried out for the legitimate business interests in connection with the Competition and, if applicable, supply of the Prizes. The Promoter will not process the participants’ personal data for other purposes unless they have a legal basis for doing so. The Promoter handles the participants’ personal information in a secure and confidential manner and always in accordance with the law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (2016) and applicable UK law. It will not disclose the participants’ personal information to third parties unless there is a legal basis for this. The law provides the participants with rights in relation to their personal information. 32. The Competition will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Competition.
