Forgotten app pin
- If a pin has been set to log into the app and has been forgotten, the following steps apply.Log out of the app and log back in.
- A message will pop up prompting for the app pin accompanied by an ok button and a logout button.
- Press the logout button
- A new menu screen is displayed with the options “Create new guarantee”, “view all my guarantees” and “change my pin"
- Click “Change my pin”
- Enter a new pin
- The Pin is now reset.
Error 401- guarantee saved as draft
If the error code 401 is shown, the ‘access token’ into the app has expired for security reasons. This will result in any guarantees submitted remaining in draft rather than being completed. The following steps apply:
- Log out of the app by clicking the arrow in the top right hand arrow of the welcome screen
- Log back into the app
- Go to the drafts section of the app
- Click into the guarantee to submit. The guarantee submission will now be completed.
Freezing “Create new guarantee” button
This is an intermittent error whereby clicking the “Create new guarantee” button fails to open the next step in the process. The device running the app may be low on memory. The following steps apply:
- Close any other apps running on the phone.
- Click the “Create new guarantee” button only once and leave it for a minute.
- The guarantee can be registered as normal.
