How our new online Troubleshooting Tool makes your job easier
Callouts are callouts – they’re good for business and the busier you are, the better for turnover. But there’s nothing worse than having one of those days when you’ve got five jobs booked in and they’re all quick fixes that the customer could’ve done themselves. They have to pay for something that could have been done for free, and you’ve got empty gaps in your schedule because they were all simple jobs.
These are the problems that our new Boiler Troubleshooting Tool can help to solve.

What is it?
It’s an online tool that helps your customers figure out what the problem with their boiler is. It will ask your customer a series of questions that will help them to identify why their boiler isn’t performing as it should and provide the correct solutions, such as offering how-to guides and videos, or a recommendation to get in touch with you. We've recently made some improvements to the tool that bring it up to date with new and legacy boilers – and make it easier for customers to reach out and get help.
How does it help me?
As well as reducing the number of quick-fix callouts in your schedule, the tool will also help you prepare for larger and more complex jobs. Getting a customer to complete this form and share the results with you could mean you don’t have to visit to find out what the issue is – or might mean that you pack a few spare parts that you wouldn’t have otherwise. In short – the results of the tool will give you a much better idea of what the problem might be.
How does it help my customers?
In the short term, it could save them time and money by helping them diagnose and fix small problems. But the more they use it, the better educated they’ll become at how their boiler works, what the common problems are, and how to avoid them happening in the future. Which means in the long term, they’ll be more informed about their boiler and will only need to call you for the bigger jobs (which are much better for business).
