Green Heating Hero Social Competition

General

1. By entering the Promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

2. The promoter is Bosch Thermotechnology Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 01993294, whose registered office address is Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW, United Kingdom (“Promoter”).

3. The Promotion will commence on 12:00 (GMT) on Monday 1^st November 2021. The closing date for receipt of Entries is 23:59 (GMT) on Tuesday 30^th November 2021 (“Closing Date”).

4. The Promotion is open to gas safe registered installers based in the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Employees of the Promoter, or of any other company within the Bosch group of companies (including BSH Home Appliances Limited), and their immediate family members, Bosch’s agents or their employees, or any person professionally associated with this Promotion (or members of their family or household) are excluded from participating (“Eligible Participant”).

5. The Promoter assumes that by entering the Promotion (and the Participant warrants that) the Participant is aged 18 or over. Participants entering the Promotion as an employee of an organisation have an obligation to (i) inform their employer about the Promotion, and (ii) obtain the permission of their employer to enter the Promotion.

Entry

6. An Eligible Participant will automatically be entered into the Promotion if they, before the Closing Date, post a picture of themselves recreating the ‘Green Heating Hero’ pose in front of a Worcester Bosch gas boiler or heat pump installation they have completed to either their personal or business Instagram feed or story tagging the Promoter’s professional Instagram channel @WorcesterBoschProfessional, or on the Promoter’s Facebook post for the Promotion (the “Entry”).

7. Multiple Entries can be made by Eligible Participants, however each Entry must be a separate Instagram post or Facebook comment. The Eligible Participant warrants that their Entry shows themselves with their own installation. Pictures of installations by other installers will not be accepted. Pictures included in the Entry must be of sufficient quality or resolution. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.

8. Participants must ensure that the Entry complies with applicable data protection laws and obtain any necessary consents. The Entry must not contain any third party personal data and not show anything else other than the Eligible Participant and the installed boiler, and in particular must not allow any inference or conclusion to be made about the homeowner or the homeowner’s address or identity. The Promoter reserves the right to require the removal of any Entry or social media post that does not comply with the provisions of this clause.

9. Entries may be assessed by the Promoter’s technical support team to ensure the installation shown complies with applicable laws and regulations and the manufacturer’s requirements.

10. Any Entry that does not comply with these Terms will be an invalid Entry and will not be entered into the Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right and has complete discretion to disqualify any Entry deemed unsuitable, inappropriate, explicit or offensive, and accepts no responsibility for Entries not successfully or fully completed due to any reason including technical faults. Disqualified entrants will not be informed.

11. By participating in the Promotion, subject to clause 30, all entrants give their consent for the Promoter to use the picture in their Entry for ongoing marketing purposes, including being shared on Worcester Bosch social media pages, in the press, and on the Worcester Bosch website.

12. All valid and correct Entries will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a prize. The prize-winner will be chosen at random from all qualifying Entries within seven (7) days of the Closing Date (the “Winner”).

Prize

13. The prize shall be one (1) Worcester Bosch Boiler of the Winner’s choice from the Greenstar 2000, 4000, or 8000 models (“Prize”).

14. There will be one (1) Prize in total that will be awarded to one (1) individual Eligible Participant.

15. The Prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with product(s) of equal or greater value at any time.

16. The Prize or any promotional item(s) must not be auctioned or resold. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to accept further entries under this or any other promotion if it becomes aware of the reselling or auctioning of the Prize or any promotional item(s).

17. The Promoter will identify and notify the Winner within seven (7) days of the Closing Date. The Winner gives their consent to be notified by a post by the Promoter on Instagram or Facebook mentioning their name, and to be sent an Instagram or Facebook message from the Promoter (“Notification”).

18. The Winner must contact the Promoter within fourteen (14) days of the date of the Notification to claim the Prize and provide the Promoter with their email address, telephone number and delivery address in the United Kingdom, and confirm which Prize they would like (“Winner Confirmation”). If the Winner fails to claim the Prize within the specified period, the Winner will forfeit the Prize, and another valid Entry will be drawn.

19. The Promoter will arrange for the Prize to be delivered to the Winner’s address in the United Kingdom at the Promoter’s cost. Please allow up to twenty-eight (28) days from the Winner Confirmation for delivery of the Prize.

20. The Prize does not include any accessories and installation which must be arranged for and purchased by the Winner at their own cost. The Winner must ensure the Prize is professionally installed by a Gas Safe registered installer in compliance with the manufacturer’s requirements and applicable laws and regulations. The Winner is free to choose an installer of their choice.

Other important information

21. In all matters relating to the Promotion, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.

22. At all times throughout the Promotion, participants must deal with the Promoter in the utmost good faith in every respect. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all participants and disqualify any participant that it has reasonable grounds to believe has breached any of the Terms, including, but not limited to, falsifying any information submitted to or requested by the Promoter.

23. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or terminate the Promotion at any time without notice. However, the Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect of such amendment or termination to avoid disappointment. Any termination or amendment to the Promotion will be communicated in the same way as the Promotion was communicated.

24. The Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions that are run by the Promoter or any company within the Bosch group of companies.

25. The Promoter excludes all liability for taxes relating to the Prize and any tax liability arising from the provision of the Prize will be the sole responsibility of the recipient of the Prize.

26. The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your Entry, nor does the Promoter accept responsibility for the return of any Entry, including those consisting of artistic or other material.

27. The Winner’s name can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Bosch Thermotechnology Ltd., Cotswold Way, Warndon, Worcester, WR4 9SW United Kingdom.

28. The Promotion is not affiliated with Instagram and/or Facebook and is in no way connected with, sponsored or otherwise supported, accompanied or monitored by Instagram and/or Facebook or any subsidiary companies and/or associates. All questions, comments or complaints relating to the Promotion should be addressed to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Facebook. Participants release Instagram and Facebook from any liability in relation to the Promotion.

29. If a Participant does not wish for their details or Entry to be entered into the Promotion or if they opt out but then wish to re-enter, they can advise the Promoter by writing to its address set out in clause 2, or by email to: Marketing.Wo@uk.bosch.com.

30. The Promoter will process the participants’ personal data on the Promoter’s behalf for the purposes of the Promotion and complying with its delivery commitments. The Promoter’s legal basis for processing the personal data is that the processing is carried out for the legitimate business interests in connection with the Promotion and, if applicable, supply of the chosen products. The Promoter will not process the participants’ personal data for other purposes unless they have a legal basis for doing so. The Promoter handles the participants’ personal information in a secure and confidential manner and always in accordance with the law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (2016) and applicable UK law. It will not disclose the participants’ personal information to third parties unless there is a legal basis for this. The law provides the participants with rights in relation to their personal information. 31. The Promotion will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.
