Greenstar Oil Boiler Installation winner
In February 2015, Jamie Sinclair was enlisted to help the new owners of a house in rural Hertfordshire to bring their Heating system up to speed. The existing appliance was approximately 25 years old and had stopped working, leaving a poorly functioning hot water cylinder the only source of heat.
SJS installed a new hot and cold water system with new radiators, TRVs and heating controls, to go with a new Greenstar Danesmoor 18/25kW oil boiler, Greenstar System Filter, and a 180 litre Greenstore Cylinder - which combined to create an efficient and secure hot water supply should stand the test of time.
"Installing an efficient solution was important to the customers and, since they had an oil tank already, the best solution was to stick to a high efficiency oil boiler. We had to coordinate with various other tradespeople and the homeowners even lived in a caravan outside during some of the work, but it was worth it for them to get the full benefit from the new heating system."
