Zaki's seasonal artwork depicts a straightforward solution to the ongoing problem of heat loss from our homes. Giant roof hats not only insulate the houses in his drawing, but they also add a touch of colour and sparkle, leading to some visibly happy homeowners!

"I chose my idea because I learned that heat rises, so a giant roof hat would stop heat leaving our house and keep us cosy inside. As well as being environmentally friendly, giant roof rats look really fun and special, so everyone would want one. My winter hat keeps me warm outside in the winter, so the idea will work for houses too, as long as the hat is made from special warm material that is also waterproof. You just need to put on the roof hat in the autumn of winter and then fold it away for the spring and summer - so you don't have to smash the roof down once weather gets warmer."
