Upgrading your boiler is one of the best ways to beat the bills, but how much does it cost to get a new boiler installed?

Upgrade your boiler today

Things change quickly when it comes to boiler technology, and that means if you upgrade from a G-rated to an A-rated boiler, you could pay up to £840* less on your energy bills over the year. Our newest boilers are incredibly efficient and make use of smart controls, to produce more heat whilst burning less fuel.

Boiler installation price

When it comes to getting a new boiler, the installation costs can often make up most of the total price.

Installing a new boiler in a different place or switching the type of boiler you’re using will both mean higher costs. The cheapest way is normally to keep your boiler where it is, keep the same type of boiler, and simply swap the old one out for the new one.

In the cheapest case – replacing a combi for a combi – you can expect to pay around £1,795. This can rise to more than £3,000 if you are changing the type of boiler.

What else affects boiler installation costs?

Your quote will be most impacted by the type of boiler you currently have and the type of boiler you want installed. But there are several other factors that may influence the final cost:

  • Geography – labour costs in London and the Southeast are more expensive.
  • Season – engineers are busier during the winter and can charge more for their time.
  • Access – if your boiler is in a difficult spot, or it needs additional equipment, you may pay more.
  • Pipes and Flue – if your new boiler needs additional pipe and flue work, this will cost extra.
