The Cecil Duckworth Apprenticeship Scheme
Published: 17-02-2023
Here at Worcester Bosch, we offer a great opportunity to those interested in developing their passion into a career via our Cecil Duckworth apprenticeship scheme. This initiative can help individuals gain the skills and knowledge needed to become a huge success and reach their full potential!
As a business, we believe an apprenticeship scheme is a fantastic opportunity to learn essential life and career skills. Apprenticeships provide a great education to people of all ages and walks of life including school leavers, job changers and those looking to broaden their experiences in new ways.
In memory of our founder, we offer the Cecil Duckworth apprenticeship scheme. This is a 4-year rotational programme with the opportunity to study for a Level 3 Engineering qualification. After achieving this creditable qualification, apprentices are guaranteed a permanent position to work with us here at Worcester Bosch.
Our apprenticeships cover many topics and are open to applicants regularly throughout the year. We are always striving to provide educational opportunities which is why we have recruited 25 apprentices so far, each year. Whilst 44% of those recruited are aged between 19-21, there are many who choose to change their career later in life as 24% of our apprentices over the past 5 years have been aged 26 or older.
Martyn Bridges, our Director of Technical Services, said: “At Worcester Bosch, we have been committed to providing educational opportunities for many years, and want to invest in the future. We would love to encourage anyone to apply for the Cecil Duckworth apprenticeship scheme to help more aspirers develop their passions into a career.”
